Lili's Story: Embracing Darkness

Lili's story as told in Legend had been mostly accurate, well except for a few glaring omissions and some over exaggerations but this had been mostly to protect the children.

The story of course had a much more conventional "happier" ending than the true story, the Producer had decided the true telling wasn't going to "play" to a modern less open minded audience.

Lili of course was almos as beautiful, naiive and innocent as the story had portrayed her, but her curiosity and willfulness had been deliberately underplayed and her independent streak and fierce intelligence were almost entirely missing from the finished piece, the world at the time was too misogynistic to accept the truth about the real Princess.

The main issue with the story however vwas that it was all told in metaphors and the ending had been changed completely so as to be acceptable to the "children" as Darkness, the Producer, chose to call the mortal humans. For instance they'd told the story perfectly, right up to Lili's meeting with Darkness, but then they'd made the story's version of her reject Darkness to make the story morally palatable to the children. In reality of course she had been shocked and had even fainted when Darkness had made his "big" entrance through the mirror.

It felt embarrassing for her looking back on it but she had been a young woman and he was such a diva, he had to have the cinematic moment with the entrance through the mirror. The problem was the writer's then had extrapolated that into a flat out ejection of his offer, it was ridiculous. Darkness' gifts had, after all, been divine. That dress, those jewels, the knowledge of the truth of reality! Sure Darkness may be a beast sometimes but his taste was truly exquisite. What young woman could seriously turn down such decadent gifts. Once you got past his horns and cloven feet he was actually very handsome, and his body, oh his body, was something else, he had muscles in places where muscles shouldn't exist. Touching his warm firm skin was enough to almost make Lili lose her sanity.

If handsome and built hadn't been enough, Darkness was charming, funny, intelligent and compassionate.
He unlike some hadn't wasted an eternity sat around doing nothing, he had absorbed millennia of knowledge. Whenever he was bored he would seek out the finest minds and spend hours talking with them, learning, and then would return then unharmed as if nothing had happened. He just wanted to grow and evolve become a better version of himself which is more than could be said for the Light.

The Light's certainty was their biggest flaw. They were always certain they were right, certain of their motives, certain they were good, oh but they were so fucking self righteous.

The more Lili learned the more disgusted she became at the Light, they were a sanctimonious holier than thou unaware ass. The Light didn't grow, they didn't adapt, they ruled the children only through fear. They weren't a good, pure benevolent deity, they were a vindictive jealous dictator. Lili's hatred for The Light burned stronger with each piece of new information she learned.

Lili gave herself to him, body and soul that first night they met. She savored every moment after with him, whether she was sucking and fucking his mighty cock or sat cuddling on his lap whilst discussing philosophy or physics. She was his devoted lover, pupil, confidant, slave, and master.
He had so much to teach her, as well as discussions she had formal lessons on diverse subjects from philosophy, psychology, divinity, magic, physics, biology, seduction, techniques, he was even bring teachers to stay with then as Lili mastered her subjects.
Over the years theyhad several visitors stay with them as "guest" professors and playthings. Lili's favorite was Stefanie Hawkings who had stayed with them or several years. She was brilliant seductive woman, with a mind was so questioning. She may have been Lily's professor but in many ways Stefanie was also her pupil, they took turns in teaching each other lessons.

After almost a decade of wonder Darkness came to Lili,

"Do you want Stefi to stay Lili?"

"Of course, she's my best friend and our lover she's taught me so much, we have learned together, I can't be without her, please let me keep her"

"I shall my Queen, her time was at an end on that plane of existence when I took her so you may keep her", his face took on a sombre look, "But I must ask something of you in return"

"Anything my King"

"You have been here so long my love it is time to see if you have mastered our powers"

"I have learnt all you have taught me and passed all the tests, I am ready" I knelt before him my eyes cast down

"To be sure I want you to go into the world with you and spend time with the children" I saw a deep sadness in his eyes, almost a tear welling up

Panic gripped me, "No, please don't send me away, I can't bare to be away from you"

"You must my Queen, I have taught you much, but to rule you must go amongst your future subjects and experience their lives, demonstrate your mastery of your gifts"

"But they don't know you my King, they are unworthy" I was distraught, why would he cast me out amongst these unworthy Light worshippers

"Then you must spread my word to all who will hear for I cannot, I would only terrify them", I could see his reluctance to continue, his voice cracking with emotion, "You will not see me until you have learnt what you need to, I would just be a distraction to you"

"No my Prince" I cried as I leapt up in to his arms, but he wasn't there. I leapt through the void and landed on a soft bed and immediately broke down into distraught tears of loss, "My Prince, oh my Lord" crying inconsolably I eventually fell into a fitful sleep
