Lili's Story: Embracing Darkness
Lili's story as told in Legend had been mostly accurate, well except for a few glaring omissions and some over exaggerations but this had been mostly to protect the children. The story of course had a much more conventional "happier" ending than the true story, the Producer had decided the true telling wasn't going to "play" to a modern less open minded audience. Lili of course was almos as beautiful, naiive and innocent as the story had portrayed her, but her curiosity and willfulness had been deliberately underplayed and her independent streak and fierce intelligence were almost entirely missing from the finished piece, the world at the time was too misogynistic to accept the truth about the real Princess. The main issue with the story however vwas that it was all told in metaphors and the ending had been changed completely so as to be acceptable to the "children" as Darkness, the Producer, chose to call the mortal humans.
